7 Days of Ronda in a 4 x 4

1^st DAY IN ROUTE TO ARENAL VOLCANO
Pick up the rented car
Departure from San José to Arenal via Zarcero. Stop for a visit to the famous Cypress Park in Zarcero, near the local church. Arrival to a selected hotel and lodging.
Other activities: visit to Tabacón Complex and Spa. Tour to the volcano and lake.

2^nd DAY IN ROUTE TO ARENAL Lodging at selected hotel.
Other activities: tour to the waterfalls.

3^rd DAY IN ROUTE TO RINCóN DE LA VIEJA
Travel to the North, bordering the Arenal Lake (Tilarán route). Lodging at the Rincón de la Vieja area.

4^th DAY RINCÓN DE LA VIEJA
Lodging at hotel in Rincon de la Vieja area.
Guided one-day tour: horseback riding, visit to the Pailas
(a natural SPA), waterfalls, Box lunch. Return to the hotel approximately at 3 p.m.

5^th DAY IN ROUTE TO PLAYA SÁMARA
Departure around noon to Guanacaste beaches (Playa Sámara). Lodging at selected hotel in Sámara.
Other activities: Canopy Tour early in the morning in Rincón de la Vieja area. Departure around noon to Guanacaste beaches (Playa Sámara).
Other activities: At sunset you can visit Playa Carrillo.

6^th DAY A DAY IN PLAYA SÁMARA
A day to enjoy the beach or the swimming pool. Lodging in selected hotel.
Other activities: diving, snorkeling and water sports. At sunset (5 p.m.) visit Optional Beach to watch sea turtles nesting (this is an occasional event).

7^th DAY IN ROUTE TO SAN JOSÉ
Morning to enjoy the beach or the swimming pool. Departure to San José (2:30 p.m.) crossing the Gulf of Nicoya by Ferry. Lodging in San José in selected hotel.

8^th DAY IN SAN JOSÉ
Return of rental car (at the same hour that you picked it up). Morning for shopping (depending on flight time). Transfer to the airport 3 hours before flight time.

Note: Meals are not included.
Includes the one-day tour to Rincón de la Vieja.
The program is a compliment to the Caribbean Program for the first week so the transfer is not included.
The admission fee for the National Parks is not included.
"Other activities" are not included in the program rate.
