Catarata’s Resort offers you 34,000m of private land blessed by Mother Nature, surrounded by natural trails of beautiful gardens and a great flower cross by crystal river. In the afternoons you can sit and see the 500m wide summit crater of Cerro Chato, this hill ended the activity about 3,500 years ago and is called “The woman who laid down” because it looks like a woman sitting watching the impotent Arenal Volcano.
All our rooms have balconies with a view to the Arenal Volcano and Chato Hill.

In our campground we have a stunning waterfall that leads to four swimming pools, Jacuzzi with wet bar, two terraces with a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano and Chato Hill, amazing and fabulous colorful lights that grant life to our waterfalls, a basketball fields, mini golf, children’s play area, a camp site for the adventure and explosive paint ball and you can visit the green house and see how we grow our vegetables, so you can taste the health and fresh Costar Rican food.
Indoors we have a conference room with a big screen TV, English style bar, pool tables, baby-foot, and taste the unique Happly Papply the original smoke Egyptian pipes with fruit tobaccos. We also have a restaurant with international and national cuisine with capacity for 150 people, next to it you will find a discotheque with a great light system and the best cabin music and live concerts.
